Several Problems Needing to Know in Selecting Cantilever Crane
Cantilever crane is an electromechanical equipment used for straight lifting or straight lifting and horizontal moving of heavy objects.Its scale is specified as a mechanical parking equipment with an additional lifting capacity of more than or equal to 0.5t,a crane with an additional lifting capacity of more than or equal to 3t,a crane with a raised height of more than or equal to 2m,and a mechanical parking equipment with a floor number of more than or equal to 2.
Cantilever crane is a new generation of light lifting equipment made to adapt to modern production.It is especially suitable for short distance,frequent use,and intensive transportation operations with high reliability of chain electric hoist.It has the characteristics of high efficiency,energy saving,trouble saving,small floor area,and easy operation and maintenance.Cantilever crane is widely used in machinery manufacturing,metallurgy,automobile production and other industries,with simple operation and high efficiency.
The selection of cantilever crane mainly considers the following issues:mechanical mobility,stability and requirements for low specific pressure in the air,whether it is appropriate to adopt truss arm type(mechanical transmission)or box type telescopic arm type(hydraulic transmission)cantilever crane,whether it can adopt professional cantilever crane,etc.
1.For material loading and unloading,sporadic hoisting and construction operations requiring rapid mobilization,it is more appropriate to select truck mounted cantilever cranes.It is more advantageous to use hydraulic truck mounted cantilever cranes with retractable booms and outriggers;The hydraulic truck cantilever crane is the most ideal hoisting machine for those who must extend the telescopic boom into the window or hole for operation.
2.When the hoisting project requires large lifting capacity,high device height and large amplitude change,crawler or tire type cantilever cranes can be selected according to the existing mechanical conditions.If the air is soft and the driving conditions are poor,the crawler type cantilever crane is most suitable;If damage is not allowed in the air within the scope of work,it is best to use tire type cantilever crane.
3.When the construction conditions are limited and the cantilever crane is required to travel with heavy lifting(the lifting is risky,and if the operation is unavoidable,the lifting weight should conform to the rules of the machine operation instruction book),the crawler type or tire type cantilever crane can be selected.The wheeled cantilever crane has good maneuverability;Crawler type cantilever crane has high stability when traveling.
4.Professional cantilever crane shall be selected as far as possible for professional operation.For example,the truck mounted cantilever crane(YD type)can be used for the short interval handling of sporadic goods.It was originally required to lift and transport two machines,but now it can be completed by one.
5.Try to choose a multi-purpose,efficient and energy-saving cantilever crane.If the construction site needs both self hoisting and tower cantilever crane,it should choose a self powered tower cantilever crane that provides lifting to save the number of machines.
